- Washu Kozuka is the secret adviser of the Magical Girls' Club, as well as the cooking club at Sasami's school. Although she is recruited by the school, she is in fact from the world of the witches, even though unlike Sasami's father Ginji, she has no powers, mainly because she is of a lower caste than Ginji. She also has a pet named Ryo-Ohki, but because of the abuse Washu put her through, tends to gravitate towards Sasami.
- As adviser, she trains the girls to be good magical girls. Ironically, although she is the cooking teacher, she herself cannot cook. Fans of the Tenchi franchise can recognize this character as the Washu they know, but has red eyes rather than green. People call her a hedgehog.
