Ringo Tachiki Jurai is a character in Tenchi Muyo! Ryo-Ohki and Tenchi Muyo! GXP/Novels.
Appearance
Ringo is a great beauty who has long and wavy pink hair as well as emerald green eyes. She wears red pieces on her side fringes and a long blue and white dress.
Background
Ringo is a member of the Tasuki House of Jurai's Royalty. She is a member of a large family and has at least one younger sister that adores her.
Although a capable fighter, as all members of Juraian Royalty are trained to be, Ringo is a delicate, mild-mannered and polite woman. But she is also the head of the accounting division of Jurai and largely responsible for the empire's finances. If it involves money, she can be terrifying to the point that even Seto is scared of her.
Once Seina begins capturing the galaxy's space pirates, and even Widow, she and the rest of the financial corps become extremely grateful and bestow very generous financial rewards on him that compare to planetary scale budgets. He is unaware of his vast wealth however, as Kiriko manages his finances. It is insisted that these rewards are warranted however as the captures have resulted in tremendous financial gains on a galactic scale.
When visiting Seina's family she does them the favor of reviewing their store's business, heading off bigger companies trying to take advantage of them and securing their quickly expanding business enterprise (in part created by the financial rewards Seina receives and Kiroko sends to the family- just a fraction of the interest made off of his wealth).
She slowly comes to realize her personal feelings for Seina. Particularly after joining him in a group trip to the pheromone- enhanced vacation spot Imuim, and being caught in a trap meant only for Seina, in which she has to take care of the baby Mikage with him.
Trivia
- Ringo has twice been knocked out, placed in a box and mailed. Once, Kiriko mailed her to Seto simply because she was being wary and didn't want Seina to meet yet another beautiful woman. Seto found it funny and ended up doing the same, mailing her back to Seina's house on Earth (she said she was making her take a vacation, but may have just wanted to get rid of the nosy accountant).
