The leader of the Church and Lithia's grandfather, with his name being Gen Po Chiina. He is a very understanding and kind person who tries to find the best solution which does not lead to war. He has shown great consideration towards Kenshi not only as a pilot but the man who looked after his granddaughter when she collapses. It is hinted that he knows Lithia has feelings for Kenshi.
